With the 2026 provincial election approaching, Élections Québec wanted to equip 18-to-24-year-olds against disinformation. The strategy developed by agency Cartier took the problem backwards: make people experience the phenomenon rather than explain it. That's how SURSUR was born — a fake all-natural gummy supplement made with reflexine, a fictional molecule said to boost critical thinking. The launch had everything a real product would, with a polished brand identity and boxes of real gummies sent to influencers followed by the target audience.

Cartier entrusted us with building the fake brand's website. The mandate had to break the mould. It called for a one-pager that plays along as a genuine supplement site — credible enough to sustain the illusion — then bursts its own bubble halfway through. Past the reveal, the site shifts roles and lays out Élections Québec's six tips for telling fact from fiction.

The site runs on a custom-built WordPress theme, animated end to end with GSAP. Behind the playful tone, the development meets the accessibility requirements of a government site.

Soma is a Montreal-based production company with a diverse team of directors. The brand cultivates a relaxed, family spirit, a far cry from the corporate tone often found in the industry, and its website had to reflect this uncompromising personality.

We were commissioned to design and develop the new site with the idea of pushing interactivity as far as possible, while respecting the central principle of putting all directors on an equal footing. Every listing on the site, including the order of directors on the home page, is randomly generated on each visit. No hierarchy, just the desire to leave room for discovery.

The site is built around a large number of animations and micro-interactions that give each page its own behavior and rhythm. Easter eggs are scattered everywhere for those who take the time to rummage around, and every animation mechanism has been thought out to serve the tone of the house: playful, attentive to detail and never static. Video content, omnipresent on the site, relies on a fully customized Vimeo integration, which blends into the interface without ever looking like a generic player. The result is a site that resembles Soma more than a classic portfolio, and can be explored as a living showcase for the collective, itself extremely lively.

Les Francouvertes is a competition dedicated to emerging French-language music, each year revealing a new generation of artists through a series of shows, prizes and public events. With some thirty editions under its belt, the event relies on an impressive volume of content, with dozens of artists per year, audio and video archives that have been accumulating since the beginning, galleries, news and more.

We were commissioned to develop the new site with a central challenge: to make this mass of content navigable, lively and pleasant to explore, without ever weighing down the experience. The site also had to support the highlights of the year - opening of the competition, online voting, live broadcast of the final - while allowing the team a great deal of autonomy to develop the pages as the season progressed.

The interface is based on a highly flexible block system, giving the team a great deal of freedom in content layout. A large part of the work focused on animations and micro-interactions that punctuate navigation: transitions between sections, scrolling behaviors, elements that react to mouse-over, all designed to give movement to the site without ever stealing the spotlight from the content. The site also features online voting, live YouTube broadcasts, complete archives of previous editions, and a library of audio clips, photo galleries and videos from a variety of sources.

Maguire is a women's shoe brand with a Montreal-based design and European manufacturing. Present in stores across North America, the company is also developing a strong international online presence.

We were commissioned to completely rebuild the Shopify site, with a view to both visual and technical modernization. The new branding had to be translated into an interface that showcased the product, while content management and the integration of e-commerce tools - two aspects that were holding the team back - had to be reviewed in depth.

The site's architecture relies heavily on Metafields, which has enabled the Maguire team to maintain control over its catalog. The site also integrates waitlist management, inventory tracking by variant, and an editorial lookbook that extends the brand story. Navigation and filters have been designed to make browsing the catalog quick and easy, despite its size.

MOBA and MOVIA are two non-profit organizations specializing in sustainable mobility, helping municipalities and organizations make the transition to more responsible travel. The two entities share the same mission and the same team, but each retains its own identity, a delicate balance that was central to the whole project.

We were commissioned to develop the new site, with the primary structural challenge of bringing together two distinct brands under a single platform, without one overshadowing the other, and without losing the visitor along the way. Each organization had to have its own place and voice, while presenting a unified, easy-to-navigate experience. At the same time, the site had to embody a more assertive brand identity than the previous version, in keeping with the seriousness and ambition of the two organizations.

The result is a lively site, in the image of teams who are just as lively. The home page highlights the concrete impact of the two organizations through their key figures, completed projects, people reached and emissions avoided, presented in a clear and striking way. The content architecture has been designed to accommodate a wide variety of sections (services, projects, campaigns, events, news, tools) and to remain easy for the team to update as its activities progress.

The brief was to create a striking temporary showcase, in teaser mode, to introduce an entirely new product to the market. Designed as a clean and fluid showcase, the Atelier Carle website translates the studio’s aesthetic into a fully custom WordPress environment.

The organic grid, powered by a custom-built algorithm, redistributes images on each visit to create a unique and balanced layout. This dynamic system is the heart of the project and required precise work to strike a balance between randomness, consistency, and readability.

Three navigation modes coexist, each with its own logic. The list view features an interactive cursor that reveals a visual preview on hover. A project driven by customization, front-end logic, and an unwavering attention to detail.
